Where and when was the brand founded?
Hat Attack was founded by my parents in 1981
What was the catalyst in starting the brand?
My parents saw a void in the market for casual, lifestyle hats including logo/branded baseball caps, which is how they got started.
What is the dream for the brand in the next 5 years?
To continue growing thoughtfully, and build a brand that is lasting and something that people return to season after season.
Do you have a favorite collection or piece to date? My favorite piece right now is our Willow sunhat. It’s a smaller brimmed chinstrap hat made of a material we don’t typically use and I love it!
What’s your favorite thing in your closet right now? I loving denim, it’s a constant in my wardrobe. I am inspired by the variety in the market right now, from silhouette and lef width to embellishment and unexpected details.
Best gift you’ve ever received? Right now I get lots of little notes and gifts from my kids and those are the best.
